THE ABYSSAL FORGE PACK

The Shadow Forge is a blight upon the history of the Makers – a dark Forge crafted to harness the unfocused power of the Abyss. For eons it has sat abandoned, sealed off from the tree by the Makers themselves. But the hand of corruption has weakened the seals placed by the Makers, and the way to the Shadow Forge has once again opened.

Your Quest
The Shadow Forge is a construct—a living machine of stone and metal powered by an old and powerful heart stone. When the Makers sealed the Shadow Forge away, they left this living machine to linger in isolation for thousands of years. In time, it has gone mad. Over those millennia, the Forge has built an army of powerful constructs – beasts not of stone, but of metal. Additionally, some small element of the Abyss has been infused in these form, giving them powers beyond those of a normal construct. The Forge plans to use the now opened portal on the tree to invade other worlds with his powerful construct army. Death must stop this.

DARKSIDERS II: THE DEMON LORD BELIAL

Death learns of a human survivor on Earth. The story told by the Council was that mankind was wiped out almost immediately after the Apocalypse, but the existence of survivors would change much. If the Third Kingdom has not been completely destroyed, perhaps they can be protected – and War’s name cleared.

Your Quest
Uriel tells Death that her Hellguard have reported seeing survivors, and that she thinks there is some shred of humanity clinging to life. A Hunter he encounters during his trek asks Death if he would free him from his shame – kill the Demon Lord that took his soul, and leave him to die in peace. If Death does this, he agrees to give Death some information on where he might find some humans hiding out…and a confrontation with the Demon Lord.

Darksiders® II Argul's Tomb Pre-order DLC Pack

The Tomb of the Deposed King (30-day content for Darksiders II) picks up where this story line drops off. The deposed king's tomb was once his throne, where he ruled the underworld with a frozen fist. In his time, the entire underworld was a frigid wasteland. After being dethroned by the current king, his tomb was cast out of the underworld and set adrift upon the ocean-like mists of the dead sea.

With the introduction of this DLC, Ostegoth – the mysterious merchant who roams the many worlds of the Abyss – has discovered the location of the lost king's tomb. If the player has not yet acquired the Scepter of The Deposed King, the Ostegoth will first send him on a quest to find and kill the Deposed King, thereby ensuring the player has the scepter. Once the player has the scepter, he will be directed across the sea of mists to this mysterious lost tomb, still frozen in ice and shrouded in a veil of cloud and shadow. The player must use the scepter to gain entrance to the tomb (at which point the item will be lost).

The Lost Tomb features 90-120 minutes of dungeon gameplay, where players will traverse, explore, solve puzzles and battle their way to the dungeon's final boss: the Ice Dragon Azazel.

Half a century after the Red Faction resistance and their Marauder allies freed Mars from the brutal Earth Defense Force, harmony on Mars is again threatened but this time by a lethal force shrouded in mystery.

When the massive Terraformer that supplies Mars with its Earth-like air and weather is destroyed, the atmosphere turns to chaos, super-tornados and lightning storms engulf the planet. To survive, the Colonists flee to the underground mines and build a network of habitable caves.

Five years later, Darius Mason, grandson of Martian Revolution heroes Alec Mason and Samanya, runs a lucrative business from Bastion, underground hub of Colonist activity. Mining, scavenging, mercenary work--if the job is dangerous, Darius is your man. Few sane people now venture to the ravaged surface, aside from contractors like Darius and the smugglers who run goods between the settlements.

DARIUS MASON

Grandson of Red Faction: Guerrilla’s Alec Mason and Samanya, Darius Mason continues the family tradition of fighting for the freedom of Mars. In Red Faction: Armageddon, Darius faces a new evil beneath the surface that threatens all human life on the planet.

Darius carries both Colonist and Marauder blood, and feels connections to both cultures. Like Alec, he’s at home in a shaft blasted out or drilled by his own labor. And, while not a trained scientist, he’s inherited Samanya’s genius for invention. (His AI gauntlet’s acronym S.A.M. stands not only for Situation Awareness Module, but is an homage to the grandmother he never met.) In fact, much of his renown and prowess is based on tools he built or adapted from Marauder or old EDF tech.

He’s confident, determined, and sharp as a miner’s chisel. But don’t be fooled by the wisecracks and cool exterior. Darius Mason has absolutely no problem delivering mayhem.
